About the artist:
MARILYN SIMANDLE
Marilyn Simandle knew she was to be an artist by the time she was six and began her professional career in 1969. Her watercolors and acrylics have earned her numerous awards and the honor of over forty-five one-woman shows. Her warm paintings are created by working with a light source that brings her colors to life while creating the contrast and depth of her shadows.
Says Marilyn, "I want people to feel a sense of pleasure when they see a house, porch, or street scene I've painted. That's the gift I want to give them, a good feeling!"
