The Witchery NZ was founded in 2014 and this is my little creative outlet where I create and sell beautiful objects and unusual gifts inspired by the magic of the old world.

I bought my first antique pieces at 16years old, a big old dark red library chair and a handcrafted, leadlight faery lamp. My love for vintage, quality craftsmanship and collecting all started there and has been something I've done throughout my spear time now for almost 20 years! It was always a dream of mine to open a quaint little shop full of exciting objects to inspires one's imagination, ignite memory and serves artists, crafters and consumers with some not-so-common objects. 
In my online portal here, you will find plenty of treasures handmade, homegrown, upcycled, repurposed, vintage and antiques, everything full of wonder and curiosity and anything I see the beauty in and I hope you will too!

I grow flowers and herbs to dry and create posies, incense, dream catchers. I make candles anointed in oils and herbary for ritual work. I adore everything made of quality craftsmanship.. silver, brass, crystal, wood, and pretty fine bone china to use and display. I often rummage second-hand stores and attend estate auctions to bring in different home decor pieces.. vintage lace, dolls, frameworks, art, jewelry, cast iron pieces, secondhand books... anything that calls to me. I have collections of naturally found bones, bird's nests, feathers anything Mother nature gifts me as I adventure the outdoors.

I grew up on farmland and spent many years collecting special stones and crystals from the rivers or pressing flowers and leaves that I saw magic in. I also have more modern and new objects available from local suppliers that bring witchy-inspired giftware into the country but I do like to pick up more vintage items wherever possible.

My background trade was in Hair Artistry which I've done for 18years and travelled the country with. I've also delved in mediumship most of my life and qualified as a life coach in 2019. The Witchery NZ formed from my salon space and grew into its own little shop which I had in Petone, Wellington for five years. I have now closed that store and returned to my hometown Warkworth with my partner Mikaere to raise our daughter and we are expecting our second little girl in November 2021! 
 

I am therefore only working online now until our girls are a little older.
