The protective powers of nettle have been used in magic for centuries. To remove a curse and send it back, stuff a poppet with nettle or carry some in a locket/sachet. To protect your home and keep evil and ill wishes out sprinkle around the entry points doorways/windows/fireplace. Burn nettle to advert danger. Hold in the hand to ward off ghosts. Carry with yarrow to allay fears, wear as an amulet to keep negativity far away.
A basket of fresh cut nettle placed under a sick persons bed is said to aid recovery. (But please seek medical advice if you are unwell)
Nettle can also be used in purification bath blends.
